Runner for every occasion

This dress was the inspiration behind the runner.  I still think it is one of the prettiest patterns I've seen.  I decided to run with it-pun intended.

This was from a headband that broke, but I couldn't part with these pretty, felt  flowers.

 I decided they would top the mason jars!

                                           

I found some fabrics that I thought complemented each other.

Cut and ironed all equally and started  sewing!  Let me reassure you, if I can sew it, so can you!  

Notice the not-so straight lines.  It is called scrappy love, not perfectly measured love.

I lined it with a white sheet cut to size.  It took an afternoon and made the perfect table accent that will now carry us through spring!
